On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the documentary film “Souffrance et Délivrance” by director Jean-François Ciranna was previewed at the Princesse Grâce Theater in Monaco.
The theme of the work is liberation from the Evil One as told by men of the Church. The Prince-Abbot of Sabourg, Monsignor Giovanni Luca, participates in the documentary as an exorcist, performing a real exorcism in which he frees a woman and her daughter from dark forces in the Chapel of Santa Maria di Magdala in Seborga.
This documentary, which reveals one of the most controversial themes in our society, exorcism, warns
this world, increasingly attracted to the occult, to stay away from the dangers of spiritualism and witchcraft.
The documentary film Souffrance et Délivrance was presented to the public for the first time during the Cannes Film Festival last May and will be released in cinemas by January 2026.
